Game Review Devil's Attorney

Devil's Attorney (Paid: ₹ 164.51)

What is it ?

Devil's Attorney is a turn-based strategy game set in the 80's where you play as Max McMann, a defense attorney that's high on charm but low on moral fiber.
Your objective is to free all of your clients and use the money you earn to buy accessories and new furniture for your apartment; boosting your ego and unlocking new courtroom skills in the process.

Trailer of Devil's Attorney

A great brain and puzzle game designed by Senri , Devil's attorney is a highly addicting "law" game. Actually very less "law" is involved in the game , but still a very interesting game. The devil's attorney 'Mr.Max McMann'  is a defense attorney who earns money and bonuses for protecting his clients .His clients are always in trouble due to their wrongdoings. This is why the game is called Devil's Attorney -An attorney protecting his devil-like clients.

 Game play

The objective of the game is to win cases to earn money and bonuses in order to buy upgrades for Max's various apartments(3 neighborhoods are provided-2 of them have to be earned). These upgrades help you to boost Max's Decadence, Vanity and Materialism stats. Each unlocks new courtroom skills. You get better with each unlock and the opponents also keep getting tougher .The conversations between Max and the prosecutor before every case are funny and bring a smile to your face these conversations reveal Max to be snarky ,overconfident and a bit of a jerk.

Should you buy it?

The game is designed flawlessly and keeps you interested till the end (Game ends after about 50+ cases). The 350+ MB game is worth buying because it keeps you entertained in the courtroom.
The game is a wonderful example of an excellent idea ,great presentation and execution.

My Rating : 9.5/10

Google Glass

All those having specs like me can understand the difficulties one has to face on having to wear them all time...carry them everywhere...protect them while especially playing football .But what if these disadvantages turn suddenly into advantages !
Google again has come up with a ground-breaking concept : GOOGLE GLASS
It seems to be an ordinary pair of glasses when you view the image but it has got infinite capabilities....

So what is Google Glass ?

Google Glass is a wearable computer with optical head mounted display(OHMD).An  OHMD is a wearable display that has the capability of reflecting projected images as well as allowing the user to optically see-through it.Google Glass displays information in a smartphone-like hands-free format, that can communicate with the Internet via natural language voice commands.

Right now the Google Glass is in a beta-like stage ,limited to only the developers .

Major hardware :

  • Camera - capable of recording 720p HD videos
  • Touch pad- Located on the side sticks(Don't know a better a word) of the Glass to control the notifications ,posts etc.
  • Accelerometer,Gyroscope,Magnetometer.
  • 16 GB memory.

 Control:

Other than the touch pad one can control the Glass using voice recognition.
One can say "OK Glass take a picture ! " and there in front of you a picture is taken .Many such commands are available.

Take a look at the video :How it feels?

Safety concerns:

  • Might be a distraction while driving.
  • May be used for spying.
  • Terrorist threats.

My opinion :

A truly modern device ,Google Glass provides you the power of Internet and Technology at 'fingertips'......no that doesn't seem right.....OK ,lets go with -'an  Eye blink' . It is a revolutionary step in Augmented Reality Technology. As any technology it might be a boon or curse.
I would be the most delighted when my boring specs will be replaced by "the GLASS"....
